On March 21st 2013 at around 8pm, the River Coombe in Newlyn, Cornwall burst its banks. Fire crews from St Ives, Penzance and  and St Just were on the scene to put road closures in place. Earlier that day, authorities issued many flood warnings across Cornwall and the South West.
